Chris Daughtry is doing pretty good (okay fantastic) despite being voted off of American Idol. He’s doing better than a lot of winners, actually.
His band, Daughtry, has sold 3.2 million copies of their self-titled debut which is more than enough to catapult it to the top of the list. Billboard has crowned it the most popular album of the year. Gotta love revenge, huh?
So, who else made the top five according to Billboard?
• Akon, Konvicted, with 2.7 million
• Fergie, The Dutchess, with 2.4 million
• The Hannah Montana soundtrack, with 2.5 million
• Carrie Underwood, Some Hearts, with 2.3 million
Congrats to Chris and Carrie! Go Idol!
