People is reporting that American Idol season 5 contestant, Chris Daughtry, will be appearing on CSI: NY alongside Rumer Willis and Scott Wolf. The episode that they’re filming is the CBS show’s 100th and is set to air in November.
The plot of the episode surrounds a serial killer who is in search of anyone named Mac Taylor, and apparently, Chris will be playing the character of Machiavelli Taylor, described as “an attractive 30-something year old musician.”
Well, this should be interesting! I’m very curious as to how that episode will end up. Are any of you big CSI fans?

Anything that makes it possible to see Chris on my TV, works for me. I’m not a big CSI: New York fan, but maybe he can sway me!!

I never have watched a CSI episode but if Chris Daughtry is going to be on it, you better believe that I will be glued to my TV set.

Daughtry on CSI huh, sounds good to me, I think he will do great. This is just the beginning for him…..I saw him at the state fairgrounds in Indy and he was wonderful, a hell of a show.

I missed CSI!! Watched it on the wrong nite. Will the episode with Chris Daughtry be on again? I just have to see it.
Watching CSI:NY with Daughtry, and his acting is not so bad…better than others.
I wasn’t sure it was Chris on television screen at first. I kept asking myself why he’d be acting on a CSI; so I googled his name and the show – low and behold it was really Daughtry. The part was small; but he did a good job.
I saw the episode of CSI with Chris on it. I kept looking at him wondering if it really WAS Chris Daughtry. I have always thought he was an awesome singer but he is REALLY a good actor too. He seemed to be a natural. Hope to see him on more shows.
