Chris Daughtry’s performance this Sunday at home apparently rocked! While I wouldn’t expect any less from America’s “wtf, how was he not in the top 2?!” Idol, it’s great to see Chris able to draw a crowd of more than a thousand in his home town (no, there’s no sarcasm there, I swear!).
From the article:
At 2 PM, Daughtry arrived at a baseball field of the local school in town to receive a key to the city with much appreciation. Daughtry said “thanks” to the crowd and went on to perform an eight song set with his acoustic guitar. Many of the songs Daughtry sang were those he wrote with his band, Absent Element, but did perform a crowd favorite with his rendition of Bon Jovi’s “Dead or Alive”. He’d go on to wrap up his forty-five minute set with a new song he wrote entitled, “Home”.
All the best to Chris as he figures out his direction and goes on to, we can only hope, write a kickass album with some really unique elements.
