Christian Slater is returning to TV, but this time to ABC for its new show The Forgotten, according to Entertainment Weekly.
Slater made the crossover between movies and television with NBC’s My Own Worst Enemy last fall, but the show was canceled after nine episodes. Personally, I’m glad Slater is giving TV a second chance after his last experience.
Slater will play Alex Donovan on the new show by Jerry Bruckheimer. Donovan is the head of a crew of amateur sleuths who solve cases involving unidentified victims.
Bruckheimer is known for his many crime procedurals including CSI, Cold Case and Without a Trace.
Others on The Forgotten cast include: Michelle Borth (Tell Me You Love Me), Bob Stephenson (Jericho), Anthony Carrigan (Law & Order: Criminal Intent), and Rochelle Aytes (Dirt).
The Forgotten will premiere Tuesday, Sept. 22, at 10 p.m. ET.
