Christina Aguilera becomes a Mouseketeer.
In 1990, Christina Aguilera auditioned for The New Mickey Mouse Club. At 10 years old she was thought to be too young for the show, so she was passed over. Two years later, The New Mickey Mouse Club called Christina and asked her to join their show. This was music to HER ears!
The photo of Christina above was taken at Disneyland Tokyo, and I’m guessing she wasn’t quite 10 yet! She looks more like she was about 5 or 6 years old.

While Christina Aguilera was asked to join the cast of The New Mickey Mouse Club in 1992, she didn’t make her season debut until 1993 and the video clip below occurred somewhere in between those dates.
In the following video clip, Christina is seen singing the Christmas classic What Child Is This? It’s a great preview of the star that was about to shine over Orlando.
