Last night I watched the 2009 VMAs (and was as appalled as everyone else when Kanye West completely disrespected Taylor Swift!) and I enjoyed the show. The Michael Jackson tribute, several of the performances, all great stuff. But one person was missing.
I really wish that we could have gotten a sneak peek at Christina Aguilera’s new album by having her perform on the VMAs. I know her album hasn’t been released so it makes sense that there was no performance, but wouldn’t that have been fun?
I guess we’ll just have to wait for the 2010 VMAs instead. They come around faster than we think. In the meantime, remember when she did this great performance of “Come On Over” back on the 2000 VMAs?
