This isn’t the most credible source ever, but I came across a story about Christina Aguilera injuring herself and I thought it was cute – not because she hurt herself but because of HOW she hurt herself.
Allegedly Christina and Jordan Bratman were playing Wii Tennis together one night and in an over-enthusiastic attempt to swing her “racket”, Christina smashed her hand into a table lamp. All that really happened is that she bruised herself, but the article says that she was more upset that she ended up losing than she was over any pain inflicted during the game.
It just made me laugh because it’s something that would happen at my place – my husband and I have both hurt ourselves a little bit due to being extremely competitive while playing with the Wii. I once cracked my knee so loud it sounded like a gunshot because I was so determined to get a third strike in a row in Wii Bowling (I did get it, but wow that hurt!).
It was just fun to read something that makes Christina Aguilera as normal as the rest of us – a goddess of a singer on stage to be sure, but at home she’s just playing Wii and being clumsy like everyone else!
