We all know that Christina Aguilera has one of the best voices in the business, but jaws still dropped when she did a tribute to Nina Simone by performing “I Loves You Porgy” at the Grammy nominations concert last night.
It was such a beautiful performance, Christina has such incredible control of her voice.
On the red carpet before the show began, Christina wore a gorgeous strapless Monique lhulier gown and continued her trend of looking like a total goddess.
The AP has a great article up about how Christina Aguilera is a working mom working the red carpet. She told the media that she had decided she wasn’t going to stop being herself after having a baby because she feels it’s too important – she said that if she can show her son how to stick with your passions and dreams it will make her a good example. Christina also said that she sometimes has trouble with the balancing act of having to leave him behind to do her work but that every other working mother knows that that’s like.
