Stanley Tucci is not only a highly lauded director, he’s also one of Christina Aguilera’s co-stars in Burlesque and he has a lot of great things to say about her acting abilities.
Although Stanley hasn’t actually filmed any scenes with Christina yet, he’s heard positive reviews: “I’ve been talking to some of the people at the studio, and everyone is thrilled with her.” However, he went on to add that it will be a little while longer before he actually gets to work with her: “I don’t know [how her acting will be], because I haven’t been there yet. I don’t start until January.”
It’s good to hear though, that people are saying positive things about Christina’s acting. More than one great singer has had disastrous results while trying to cross over into film (I’m looking at YOU Madonna!), so it’s a relief to know that so far people are happy and impressed with Christina!
