I love, love Xtina’s baby’s name, “Max Liron Bratman” — it’s so manly and yet “not weird” in the world of weird names for celeb babies! Did you know that “Liron” means “song of joy” in Hebrew? Apparently Xtina named her son “Liron” to pay homage to husband, Jordan Bratman’s jewish heritage. How sweet! And I find it appropriate given that Xtina’s love for songs/music
Let us go and reminisce the not so usual names given by other celebrities to their babies:
The Beckhams were publicly criticised when they chose to name their first son Brooklyn – apparently it was where he was conceived.
Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin also came under scrutiny when they opted to call their daughter Apple. Furthering the fruit front, we wonder what the meaning was behind Peaches (the daughter of the late Paula Yates and Bob Geldof). What was wrong with Jane, James, Louise or even Stephen?
Moon Unit (Frank and Gail Zappa’s son)
Daisy Boo (Jamie and Jools Oliver’s daughter)
Willow Camille Reign (Will and Jada Pinkett Smith’s daughter)
Other unusual celeb baby names after the jump

Fuchsia - Sting (My gawd, imagine being called ‘Fuchsia’!)
Phoenix Chi – Mel C and Jimmy Gulzar
