Well, it seems as if Ciara’s trying to get back at Beyoncé for “If I Were a Boy”, which got people talking about how similar the song was to Ciara’s “Like a Boy.” So, Ciara did a cover on Beyoncé’s new song “Diva.” But the problem is that Ci Ci didn’t get approval from Bey or her label before making this cover. She might get in some trouble for that.
I personally prefer the Beyoncé version of this song since it’s a lot stronger. Ciara’s voice is weaker than Beyoncé’s so I just wasn’t a huge fan of it. You can listen to the Beyonce version here, and you can listen to the Ciara one below.

for all u ciara haters ciara is the best and before ciara came out aaliyah was the number one diva and after she died destiny childs became number one not just beyonce alone all of them together and now that ciara is out beyonce is no competition ciara got it all on lock down beyonce have to go threw trouble just to find the key lol but just kno ciara is the #1 diva in this game for tne more years lol until she get in her 70′s lol beyonce was always wack by herself she need kelly and michel to keep her a 2nd rate diva

I really dont like Beyonce she is too damn coky…i mean she cute but she done got with Jay-z and think she is untouchable… when she first came out she act like a born again Christian… and she say she aint no diva then why in the hell wud she make a song like that then…tramp…I like Ciaras version i like that hoe Beyonces version… but what is that broad Beyonces true motive
and the only reason why bey came out with ”if i were a boy” was for publicity too. because her fat ass know exactly what shes up against. jennifer hudson already showed yall what real talent is when she put poor bey in her place. bey dream was dreamgirls and j-hud snatched her crown.now it’s cici turn. new diva in town.
and i wish bey will stop saying ”she been num 1 in this game for a minute.” she did not get there alone. what kind of friend is she for not recornizing kelly and the other people who was there to get to the top. she’s an industry blocker…..

2nd ciara has had plenty of success on her own.
she didnt need jz or destiny’s child or totally switch her image or even steal her image( diana ross/bey) like bey.
ciara goodies album sold over 4 million in the first month alone.
beyonce is a bitter and a hater. just because she is the most talked about dont mean she own the crown.
when beyonce came out solo she was up against no one but wack ass ashanti. now you got cici, riri, and keri hilson making her old ass work harder. and she’s slacking. ciara get her ass!
Ciara is copying the Beyonce’s whole Sasha image. Now Ciara is stating she too has an alter ego named ciCi who takes over when she’s on the stage. WTF!!!! Since when Cici? Sasha has been in existence since 2001.
But better than that, Ciara’s cd was pushed back to March. Her record company shelved the original Fantasy Ride and told her to try again. So Now she has another single coming out in January. She should have channeled her energy to that singles release instead of remixing Diva. Heck Diva has already entered all of the billboard charts and the video is #2 on Itunes. Single ladies is #1 single for the 4th consecutive week and If I were a boy is #1 internationally.
Ciara has never had that much success from any song or cd for that matter. I like Ciara but what’s funny is that she acknowledged that Bey was a Diva….however, she NEVER refuted that BEY was the NUMBER ONE DIVA IN THE GAME!!!!
Even if it wasn’t “officially” a remix…whenever you redo a song…your suppose to do it better.
This isn’t a remix or cover. People used to do this in this mostly in the 90s…jump on someone else’s track without them on it. DJs have instrumentals of albums and can put anyone in the studio over the track as long as it’s just radio play and not for sales. I do agree…she did it for the buzz factor for her album.
Everybody knows that all remixes are meant to be better than the originals. Why bother to put out a track when you know Beyonce can out sing you on her worse day? If Ciara was smart she would have made a youtube video where she dances to it….coz everybody knows she can really dance. Oh well go ahead and make yourself look stupid Ci Ci… Just know who the Queen Diva is..
ciara wasn’t trying to get back at queen bee! she was trying to get buzz for her new album! you know! everybody is saying that her album is gonna flop so she’s trying to get some buzz for herself by doing this horrible cover of the song! this is why beyonce is the queen & nobody can do it better!
Thats a shame!! ciara was jus doin dat to get back at Beyonce and if ur goin do a remake of song, at least do a good job!! In my opinion Beyonce’s If i were a boy didnt even sound like hers!! Beyonce is the best in the bussiness n always will be!! i liked ciara but if shes goin b playn these games then, dont count on me buyn her album!!! Beyonce= THE BEST!!!
