Clay is highly intelligent, and any stalling on his part was for effect. He even KNEW the answer to the $500,000 question, but didn’t want to lock it in, since the money was going to the kids.
I actually like him with a little weight, but I know it is gone, since he is off the medication. He is SO much better looking than when he first came on Idol, but still has that mind blowing voice and charisma!!

Hi Roni. Regis Philbin won $175,000. for his charity. Kellie Pickler hasn’t been shown as yet nor the others. This celebrity 5th Grader is in 3 parts, last week Clay and Regis, 2 more this Thursday, and 2 more the following Thursday. I’ll keep you informed via this site, or probably Jeanne will.

I am not an American and was only able to download Clay’s participation on the show via a Clay fan website.

Clay is a hoot! He is always so quick-witted.
I am very sure Clay knew the meaning of the word “antonym” from the start but being on a game show, I guess he had to “act” a little to add to the “suspense”.
Didn’t he also say he’s been off his med’s for a while now, I know those add a lot of weight too.
He looked fantasticat the Sedaka Tribute.
Besides, wasn’t Pickler supposed to be out first ( the show handed out her signs to the audience) and she wasn’t ready they quickly put Clay out there, he probably didn’t get the Hairstylist time Kellie did.
JuneBug, don’t forget that show was taped in August and by the “Solitaire” video from last week it looks like he has been slimming down and his hair looked better. I even saw shades of that old smile from Idol.
I love Clay, he is so quick witted, he even outwitted the original “you might be a redneck if” with that comment, Jeff really got a kick out of it. I really miss the old Clay… I thought his old smile showed alot of character… can’t figure out what is going on with his hair (preferred the Tyra Banks style) this new thing reminds me of the old bowl cuts. And he needs to lose weight!!!! I am happy he can afford to eat at the finest restaurants, but I am sure he can afford a personal trainer as well, he looks just a little unkept to me. Please don’t yell at me, I love him to death!!! this is just my opinion.

30 new summer camps for next summer. Way to go Clay!
Well, the show is just over here and Clay just was so cute and so smart.

I think most people learned what an antonym is but it is one of those things that gets jumbled up in your head with words like “synonym” and “anagram” and it’s easy to forget.
