Clay Aiken will be starting his run in "Spamalot" on Broadway tonight and here’s a picture that I spotted on PageSix of him all decked out in his costume! He plays Sir Robin in the Monty Python musical. He’s quoted as saying (in that controversial Newsweek article) the following:
"I thought Monty Python was a person until three months ago… The first time I saw it I thought it was the stupidest thing I’d ever seen in my entire life," he said. "My tour drummer is the Spamalot drummer, and [he] said you’ve got to see it again."
So, who’s going to see it?! Details – I need details! Leave them in the comment area :)

I heard he is so funny in SPAMALOT
I am just back from the show!!! Fantastic!! What a troup of performers – they all melded so well and performed so flawlessly. Clay fit right in and you could feel the camaraderie. The applause for the show was super and everyone on stage was shown the love. Clay’s solo spotlight performance was perfection – no action, no note, no movement out of place.
Let me add the Lady of the Lake is just amazing.

heh, Ilikethat the show is over the top and Clay just does what he wants and the critics can be damned. Break a leg, Clay – only not really, ya know! Hee
Clay will be great I think. He’s very comedic in concert and this role is perfect to show that.
Actually that’s just his costume for the finale. He wears a knight’s costume the rest of the time. lol

LOL, I just read about his charater…he’s playing Sir Robin. It says “Brave Sir Robin, the lad who wants to be a knight but needs help in the bravery department”
