Clay Aiken talked about the exhaustion that comes along with his rigorous schedule. He’s got a lot going on and he says it’s kicking his butt!

I have not been to Spamalot yet. I am really hoping to go the end of March. I am hearing wonderful things about Clay in the show. He is veyr funny.. and I am not surprised that he is so up for the humor. Keeping my fingers crossed that I can make it to NY for the show. Clay also was great on Mike and Juliet, but they cut his segment way too short.
I was there opening night and I just want you to know this is not a role that requires a Shakespearian actor – it requires someone with comedic timing and a sense of humor and Clay qualifies for that as well as keeping his face straight during various ad lib jokes and have three very discernable English accents depending on the character he plays.
Clay seems to have developed a unique interpretation for Sir Robin from the previous ones and that is part of the artistry.
Anyway, it is a fun evening and I recommend it to all – if… they have a good sense of humor.
Yes, I saw Spamalot on saturday night. Now I have to tell you I love Clay and really wanted to see the show but had no idea what to expect. I didn’t know if he was going to be good or not in something like this, but I have to say he was great. The show itself is funny as hell and Clay was absolutely up to the task. If any of you get the chance to see it, GO! Everyone I was with loved the show and Clay, we had a great time. And no, not a claymate among us. Just people who appreciate talent, singing and having a damn good time.
Clay is adorable here. Love the energy, the humor and that fact that he seems to really enjoy his time with Spamalot. Rave reviews and good stage door footage on ClayAikenNews.com. I get see him on Jan 31 and can’t wait. Sorry, don’t like the hair. I like the way his hair looked during his recent holiday tour. But the face, I think Clay gets more handsome as he ages. And not I am not, don’t want to be a Claymate. Just a big fan since his days on AI.
