American Idol star, Clay Aiken, will continue to bring attention to those who need it most when he participates in “The Survival Project: One Child at a Time,” which will be anchored by CNN’s chief medical correspondent, Dr. Sanjay Gupta.

Look forward to watching the CNN special Sunday evening. Thanks Clay for doing what you do and for being the man you are.
Good for Clay, way to go. I must say I admire how he brushes off the rumors and is just himself-a loving and caring guy. Good job Clay.
I think it is wonderful when someone uses his celebrity to draw attention to places and people that need help. Way to go Clay!
I’m really looking forward to this show and Clay’s involvement in it. I’ve supported UNICEF for many years and as a dedicated fan am very proud of him for his involvement with one of my favorite organizations. He walks the walk. It happens too little these days.
Kudos to CNN for covering these urgent problems! Thank goodness someone cares about the less fortunate and calls attention to such issues! I’m happy to see that the trash journalism that focuses only on the irrelevant has been answered by legitimate sources such as CNN, which highlights the good that celebrities such as Al Roker and Clay Aiken do! Hats off to you!!
UNICEF is such a wonderful organization, I have been a supporter since I was a kid. Apparently Clay Aiken must be highly thought of within UNICEF to be sending him on his 5th Mission. Good to see that an Idol Alum is doing such worthwhile work.
Children are the future so it is very important to nourish and protect them. I am so glad that attention will be brought to those in peril. As a former teacher, Clay has not failed in bringing these unhappy circumstances to our attention so that we can help in whatever small way.
Clay Aiken wants to make a difference in this world and has spent a lot of time on his own foundation for children with special needs, as well as with UNICEF. He has gone to Indonesia, Uganda, Mexico, and Afghanistan as well as to Somalia. Thank you for making note of his work here. The safety and security of ALLchildren in this world is something we should ALL be concerned about.
Thanks, too to Clay for using that glorious voice and reminding us what is truly important in this world.
Clay always seems to have his priorities in order. His work with children through his own foundation, as well as his UNICEF ambassadorship, really shows he walks the talk! Celebrity has not veered him from his path of making a difference! Here is one sincere guy who really tries to make a positive influence to help the children of the world.
I am so glad that focus is being put on the children of the world. I hope they get into the child labor of China and other countries as well.
I am glad Clay has focus on what is important. many people would be centered only on their personal success and not take the time needed to dedicate to important things – sometimes there are things more important then ourselves and our interests.
All the idols have been exceptionally good at charitable work, it is quite an amazing record.
Clay ROCKS!!
I so admire Clay for ignoring the crap and doing what he has always wanted and needs to do, bringing attention to the disadvantaged children.
Looking forward to seeing this special on CNN — the children of the world need a “voice” and those involved are trying to make a difference. Thank you for calling attention to this show. I’m sure Clay Aiken along with the other caring celebrities will be sharing their experiences and calling attention to the needs of so many of these children.
