Clay Aiken Welcomes Baby Boy

American Idol graduate Clay Aiken and his friend Jaymes Foster are the proud parents of a new baby boy. Parker Foster Aiken was born in North Carolina at 8:08 am this morning, 8 August, 2008. If they’re at all superstitious I’ll bet they’re thrilled – 8 is such a lucky number!

Parker tipped the scales at 6 lb. 2 oz. and measured 19 inches.

“The little man is healthy, happy, and as loud as his daddy. Mama Jaymes is doing quite well also,” Clay wrote on his website.

“The Aiken family, the Foster family, and the Parker family are all thrilled.”
