Clay Aiken’s Christmas in the Heartland Tour 2007!!!

clayaikenidolworship

Clay Aiken will be kicking off his "Christmas in the Heartland" Tour in just a few days and I know that my Claymates are excited?  How excited?  One fan insisted I get these dates up ASAP and that’s what I’ve done :)

So, I want to hear from all of you who are going/have tickets and even when you come back from the show.  He’s not coming anywhere near where I live so I won’t be going – you have to come back and tell me about all the goodies!

Oh, by the way, if the schedule for Clay’s tour dates look familiar, it’s because I got it from the awesome Clay site, Clay The Ideal Idol.

    Hi Jeanne!

Yes all of the planning was well worth the evening with my sibs and family! Especially since I had not seen them for almost two years!

    It was great!

This is the most beautiful performance by Clay…in Albany..
    ‘Welcome To Our World.’

This should be a new Christmas classic..right up there with Silent Night…

    Enjoy…

THANK YOU SO MUCH for coming back and telling us about your experience at the Clay Aiken concert. I am so jealous.

So, I’m guessing all of the planning was worth it? It sounds like you had a great time. The best part is that Clay has new fans.

    Well,

Just got back in town about two hours ago, back here in California from my to New-York and New Jersey.

As I posted earlier, I decided to make a the best of a business trip with my family this week and treated them all to a night out on the town Thursday, to see Clay in New Brunswick at the State Theatre.

There were 11 of us! Only two of us were Clay fans, the rest of the family and significant others remember Clay from AI, but had not followed him at all since then.

As everyone else who attended the New Brunswick concert has attested to, Clay was not only stunning in looks but in voice as well!

Ok, so our evening started with seven members of the party meeting me at my hotel room in New York. I had previously arranged for us to have the night out in style! So a fourteen passenger, beautiful, white, stretch limosine pick us all up from the hotel!

The limosine then took us into Boundbrook New Jersey, where we picked up the remaining three members of our party. From there we went to Bridgewater New Jersey, had a wonderful Italian dinner at a place called La Catena and from there the limosine took us to the New Brunswick State Theatre!

What I must share is that the entire time we were in the limosine the group was treated to seeing the Juke Box tour in it’s entirety AND the Pala, Cal concert! I made sure the limosine had a DVD player and I brought along several of his concerts on DVD.

THEY LOVED both concerts!!! They loved Clay’s amazing voice, his sense of humor and entertaining stage presence!!

The Holiday concert at the State Theatre was amazing! Clay, Quiana and Angela were just brilliant and Clay outdid himself! The little “snafu” everyone has been cheering about was taken by the group as humorous and endearing!

Everyone single person in our group LOVED HIM!!

One of my brothers asked me twice for the website were he could download and watch the concerts and so I gave him Clack Unlimited.

At the end of the evening what was so amusing was that when we came out of the Theatre ( it never dawned on me this would happen!)(DUH!), but there were a swarm of fans buzzing around and hanging close to our limosine! I completely forgot that some unknowing fans might have thought it was for Clay or some other famous person!

I felt sorry for those fans! All they got to see were a bunch of dressed up unknowns getting into the limo!!

As an early Christmas gift for the entire group, each family group received a gift copy of AIW, MCWL and ATDW along with my signature Clay Holiday greeting card! They all just loved their gifts!

The night was a complete success! For the entire ride back in the limosine the talk was about Clay, his magnificent voice, Quiana and Angela, the classiness and beauty of the concert, where Clay’s career could go and the lack of good music in the industry!

    WOW!!

NINE new Clay Fans in one night!!

    WOO HOO!!!

I was at the St. Louis show and he was
awesome. Holding notes longer and longer,
changing things up on some of the usual
Christmas songs and looking very handsome, tall and lean. He was at his best
and the stories that were read by fans were
great and added to the show.

First concert of this tour was last night and from the audio and early video it was amazing. The orchestra was fabulous and the arrangements Jesse Vargas produced are stunning. Clay’s voice is in magnificent form. I’m impressed.

I am going to the New Brunswick, New Jersey concert.

I live in California and this will be the first time I have ever flown anywhere to see Clay in concert, except for when I flew to Vegas for the IT years ago.

I own my business and several of my sibs have joined in to help in my biz, but we literally all live coast to coast- east and west and north and south. I am the only one in California.

So I decided to hold a workshop for my sibs to teach them more about the biz. We decided to do this in December so everyone could be better prepared for the biz by the new year.

So….. I decided to fly to New York (several of my sibs live there) and hold the workshop during the week of the New Brunswick, NJ concert since one of my brothers live in New Jersey anyway!

As these are now all my employees, I am treating them all to a “business” night out on the town on Thursday, Dec 6th, and then we will have the workshop at the Hotel on Friday! A two day business trip!

All in all, there will be 12 us attending! This includes my New York and New Jersey sibs, their significant others, my niece, a friend and my twin sister and her husband who will be flying up from Florida!

Nine of the twelve will meet me at my hotel room on Thursday, Dec 6th, and then the fun begins!

I am having a limosine pick us all up from my hotel room, then on to Boundsbrook, NJ to pick up our remaining brother and his girlfriend!

From there the limo takes us to a wonderful Italian restaurant in Bridgewater, NJ (called La Catena), a restaurant my brother swears by, and after we stuff ourselves there, the limo then takes us on to the State Theatre for the concert!

It is going to be a wonderful, fun filled evening for all! What is amazing, I am the only one in our group of twelve who has ever seen Clay in concert! So, I sent all of my sibs a link to Clay’s performance at the Sedaka tribute and they loved it! My sibs keep calling me and telling me they can’t wait until Dec 6th!

Also, this evening will fulfill a dream for one in our group. One of my brothers is engaged, and his fiance’s daughter, I learned a couple of months ago, is an avid Clay fan but she has never seen him in concert! She is so excited!

    Now, about the tickets!

I got two tickets in section A2, Front Balcony, Row C- seats 1 and 3!

The remaining 10 tickets are also in section A2, Front Balcony, Row D- seats 1, 2, 3, 4, 108, 110, 112, 116, 118 and 120! Not bad seats especially since I waited until the last day of October to get them!

If anyone who blogs here is going, hope to see you there! If you don’t know who I am, just look for the star struck African American/mixed family group of 12 in the balcony!!

Ummmm, Thanks Jeanne, But isn’t it called the Clay Aiken’s Christmas in the Heartland tour. I think “Magical Holiday tour” was an early title.

quoting the official fan club here:

A new pre-sale for Clay’s “Christmas in the Heartland” tour begins tomorrow, October 23rd.
