On this week’s episode of Canada’s Next Top Model, the girls did a strong, editorial beauty shoot. Jay tried to teach them a lesson by duct-taping their mouths shut. Whether they learned it or not, well, we’ll find out next week. This photo shoot really separated the contenders from the pretenders.

I liked this episode, but what is with the models of late, in both CNTM and ANTM going on about their “illnesses”. “I have an anxiety disorder/Asperger’s/whatever. It’s like (some of them, I believe Heather really had Asperger’s) excusing their weaknesses as illness. Everyone gets stagefright, it’s not a disease! Argh, rant over.

I have never seen a crack-hoe and I don’t think that is a mess(rebecca’s photo), it’s really sad to think if the girl “smile with her eyes” it’s a gorgeous photo, it isn’t, it depends of so many thinks like what the photographer wants, what it’s representing the photo, the time influence, etc. So if you think that a model has to smile with her eyes all the time, is not rigth, and I hate the tyra like comments about the photos, tyra is not an artist, she doesn’t look for a real top model, so tyra comments are just not a good base to tell if it is a nice photo or not, because they look for a girl who looks to the camera and looks “fierce” and fashion photography can’t be so limited.
Beauty and art does not have established limits.
rebbecah is one of my favs along with maeghan nikkita and maryam but rebbecah looks like holly from mmasm she has a strong look hopefully shell pull a allison!!!!!
Yes, Nikita’s attitude is wretched when she takes nice pics. It would be good for her to dial it down. Meaghan went down a few points based on her cackling with Nikita about Rebeccah.
I don’t have a problem with Tara being cut (and thus far, the eliminations have made sense). She was in the bottom two last week as well and these shows don’t care about someone necessarily looking like a model (AusNTM). That being said, I think if Rebeccah doesn’t do something different next week, she’ll be gone.
I loved this shoot but Rebeccah got a raw deal with that make-up. It’s more clown than beauty. This is waaay better than ANTM.
Wow! These photos certainly turned out better than I thought. Here is MY callout, based on my favourite to least favourite:
1) Meaghan- Gorgeous… her eyes tell a story, and she looks beautiful.
2) Maryam- This is FIAHCE! The body language is incredible!
3) Linsay- Gorgeous eyes, gorgeous face, this shot could be a real ad.
4) Heather- It’s a bit creepy, but still very HF, her eyes are great.
5) Nikita- I love her cheekbones, they’re wicked. But I can’t tell what story she is telling with her eyes.
6) Tara- Sure, this photo is pretty boring, but her looking like a model should have saved her.
7) Rebeccah- Her eyes look like those of a crack-hoe, and it is just overall a mess. I do like her hand placement though.

I looooove Nikita’s look. She looks so different, and so strong at the same time. why does she have to be such a whiny biatch all the time? In my eyes, she soooo has this in the bag. Just be PC for a while and you’ll win it all, biatch!
