Corbin Bleu wants to be done with his High School Musical image. “My first album was R&B, pop — it was more for the High School Musical audience,” Corbin said in a phone interview while discussing his 2007 album, Another Side.
But Corbin says that his next album has more of a rock influence. Corbin says that he idolizes classic rock like “Queen, Styx, Guns N’ Roses” and more. Corbin also wants to perform like his idols. “Prince influences me, but Michael Jackson is my favorite. He is such a perfectionist as a performer, and that’s what I want to be. He put on an incredible show.”
Corbin wants that feeling in his concerts. “When it comes to live concerts and especially my live shows, I want to interact with the audience and see them moving around with me.” Looking forward to Corbin’s new album?
