Courtney Cox’s new comedy Cougar Town will make its debut on ABC at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT tonight.
Cox stars as Jules Cobb an almost 40-year-old woman with an ugly divorce behind her. With a successful career and a teenage son, Jules doesn’t want to be like the rest of the women her age prowling for younger men.
But all of the available men her age, like her neighbor Grayson Ellis, are only dating barely legal hotties. With the help of her best friend Elle and determined assistant Laurie, Jules dips her toe back into the dating pool — hitting it off with a young guy named Bobby – realizing dating younger guys isn’t bad at all!
Why is the show called Cougar Town? It’s the name of the local high school football team in a small Florida town where Jules lives and works. And, well, lots of cougars live there.
