“Crash” director denounces Scientology

Oh, those crazy Scientologists! Always with the denouncing!

“Crash” director Paul Haggis has decided to blow the lid off of Scientology….because apparently, it just had SO much authenticity behind it already, and GOOD LORD we need to uncover this awful scam! Seriously, is there anyone that really thinks Scientology is a good thing to follow? I mean, other than crazy celebrities who are basically paying their way into a Thetan-free utopia?

Anywhodles, Paul wrote a pretty juicy letter which has been published online and other than the fact that he didn’t give any Tommy Cruise tidbits, it’s actually pretty good. Highlights:

The Church of Scientology is a fan of gay-bashing.

  • They aired private therapy (or whatever they call it in crazy cult language) of a woman who had been in the organization for decades.
  • They kick kittens, drink blood, and I’m pretty sure they club baby seals.

Ah, Scientology…how easy you make it for me, what with the alien-sucking and the shunning and the jumping on the couch business. It is…how do you say….pathetique? Ah, oui.
