Crushable’s ‘Game of Thrones’ Season 2 Dream Cast

Jaqen H’ghar: Michael Sheen
A former felon that Arya, disguised as the orphan boy Arry, encounters while she’s being escorted to the Wall, Jaqen offers Arya two deaths of her choosing as repayment for saving his life. He’s super mysterious and can change his face at will. Arya is already going down an interesting path; Jaqen will make that path more interesting still. Michael Sheen is the favorite for Jaqen, and he’s such a chameleon that I think he’d be terrific.

Balon Greyjoy: Ian McShane
Theon Greyjoy’s dad is a nasty piece of work. Roughly seven years after Robert Baratheon took the throne, he attempted to start an uprising by declaring himself King, which was put doing wn in a spectacularly bloody fashion. Theon was taken by Ned Stark as a combination ward and hostage after the rebellion, but Balon has been biding his time on the Iron Islands ever since. He’s definitely the dad you don’t want to have, and a great contrast to Ned. I’d kind of like to see Deadwood’s Ian McShane in the role– he’s great at playing unpleasant people.

Mance Rayder: James Purefoy
Osha and the other Wildlings referenced Mance Rayder when Robb and Theon caught them in the woods. Once a man of the Night’s Watch, Mance abandoned his vows and became the self-proclaimed King Beyond the Wall. When the White Walkers become a threat, he attempts to unite all the Wildlings into an army with a plan to attack Westeros. He’ll factor prominently in Jon Snow’s story. Now that Camelot has been cancelled, maybe James Purefoy will be available to take the role? A number of fans would also like to see Purefoy play Qhorin Halfhand, the member of the Night’s Watch that sets Jon on the path towards Mance in the first place, though, so there are a number of places he could make an appearance.

Ygritte Bonnie Wright or Lily Cole:
A Wildling girl in Mance Rayder’s camp, Ygritte will also prove to be rather important to Jon Snow. She’s what they usually call a firecracker, and not just because of her flaming red hair (which her people say is lucky). Harry Potter fans might want to see Bonnie Wright in the role, though Lily Cole might make an interesting choice as well.
