Dancers Were Robbed!

No, I don’t mean that they were unfairly judged and lost a competition they should have won. What I mean is that professional dancers Derek Hough and Mark Ballas had a lot of personal items stolen from a van while they were having dinner with Kristi Yamaguchi and other DWTS members in Minneapolis recently.

Among the personal items that were stolen were their passports, wallets, laptop computers, iPods, cell phones, diaries and photos from the DWTS tour. They were in town to take part in a charity event to raise money to fight cancer.

“I feel so bad,” Yamaguchi told local Twin Cities station KSTP-TV. “These guys came in for a good cause to help out and it’s not starting out so good.”

“It’s more emotional because there are so many memories [associated with them],” she told KSTP.

The van is owned by Derek Hough, who was scheduled to play at the benefit with his band, Almost Amy.
