Here’s the mambo of Monica Seles and her partner Jonathan Roberts. I’m still surprised that an athlete like Monica is so stiff on the dance floor. She looks like she’s mostly going through the mostions, but not really getting into it at all:

(follow the jump for the rest!)

Priscilla Presley and her partner Louis van Amstel use their mambo to show that dancing is ageless. Ok, yes, she could be more into the dance, but she’s certainly not one of the worst out there. I think she has potential to really improve.

Shannon Elizabeth and her partner Derek Hough have improved since last week and the quickstep routine they did was fun to watch. She did very well with the footwork, but she needed to have a straight leg at times and didn’t. But defintely, I think she’ll be around for a while.

Check out this quickstep by Marissa Jaret Winokur and her partner Tony Dovolani. She is just effervescent! They were a little out of synch at times and she missteped a couple of times, but she brings heart to her dancing.

I am still in awe of Marlee Matlin and her partner Fabian Sanchez dancing a quickstep. If ever there was a dance style that would test her ability to keep the beat and move with her partner, it’s the quickstep. And she did it amazing well. She dances better than most of the hearing dancers. Go, Marlee!

This mambo by Kristi Yamaguchi and her partner Mark Ballas looked flawless to me. She’s the topp scoring woman dancer this season so far and I think she’s one of the top contenders for the final three, along with Jason Taylor and Mario.
