I remember Cloris Leachman best for her role on the 70s sitcom The Mary Tyler Moore Show. She was the annoying downstairs neighbor. Oh, yes, she’s played many, many other roles than that, but it was my favorite.
She is a member of the star-studded ensemble cast of the current movie The Women, she’s contributed one of the many voices for the Beavis & Butthead Movie and really got everyone’s attention by seducing John Stamos at Bob Saget’s roast. Cloris is a long-time vegetarian. Currently, she is at work on a one-woman show about her life and career.
I hope she stays in the competition for a very, very long time this season because I know she’ll be a delight to watch. I already know that I’m looking forward to seeing her dance most of all, so far!
