Daniel Craig poses in Paris on Wednesday (January 7) for a photo call for his film “Defiance”. Co-star Liev Schreiber and director Edward Zwick were there also.
“Defiance” is a WWII drama about three Jewish brothers who escaped from a Nazi-occupied Poland into the Belarussian forest. The film arrives in U.S. theaters January 16, 2009.
Speaking about the movie, Craig said, “One of the reasons I think the story is important is because this is very recent history and a lot of the way we look at the world and live in the world is shaped because of that history. Stories like this need to be told because it’s not that long ago.”
