Daniel Radcliffe on the Today Show

Daniel Radcliffe, who you probably know for his portrayal of the title role in Harry Potter, was on the Today show where he talked about starring in the Broadway production of Equus, a gritty play that he first did in London.  In case you don’t know about the show, it’s "the story of a psychiatrist who attempts to treat a young man who has a pathological religious/sexual fascination with horses."  A far leap from his days as the boy wizard!  Ann Curry cracked me up when she got flustered trying to ask him how he ended up being in a play where he must act in the nude, for the most part (he even does a full frontal!).

What I found especially interesting was the fact that Daniel does not read any of the reviews because he feels that, good or bad, the opinions of critics will affect his performance.  He is so mature and confident.  It’s good to see a young celebrity with a good head on his shoulders.
