It was an Idol-filled morning on Toronto’s CHUM FM yesterday for their annual Christmas Wish Breakfast. They welcomed American Idol season 7 runner-up, David Archuleta, along with Canadian Idol winners, Eva Avila (season 4) and Theo Tams (season 6). The event helped raise money by collecting toys for families in need in the Greater Toronto Area.
David was really adorable in his interviews (one girl even asked him to marry her) and he performed "Crush" with just himself playing the piano as an accompaniment. It was really nice.
Theo performed his new holiday track "Christmas Dream" and I really liked it. I like the recorded version better but it was still a great performance.

Thanks for sharing the video’s of David Archuleta’s interviews! He’s such an incredible person. I think you accidentally posted the same section of the interview twice instead of the Crush performance on keyboard. If you could fix that, I’d appreciate it! I saw David’s Crush performance on the Chum site and it was just awesome! I love how he changed up the feel of the song vocally. His voice is amazing. It sounds like the audience went crazy for David.
Thanks for posting this. I never saw that video before. He is so talented. For someone his age he has a fantastic voice.
Theo’s performance was absolutely stunning. He left me with goosebumps, especially hearing it live in the room. It’s a gorgeous song, and combined with his amazing voice and expressive piano playing, it was hard not to be moved listening to it. I only wish that the people at Chum-FM had mentioned that proceeds from the sale of his “Christmas Dream” single go to Free the Children. (Theo is very much involved in children’s charities.)
