David Beckham took some time off the soccer field to attend the Anema E Core Cancer Research Gala dinner in Milan last night. The event, which was for raising more for cancer research, included a lavish three-course meal, dancing, a silent auction and more.

David auctioned off an autographed a signed AC Milan jersey, which was bought by Gabriella Dompe, an Italian socialite.
It wasn’t all fun and games for David, though. The crowd made him work for his supper, and he performed tricks with a soccer ball for them.
“David took it all in his stride, taking compliments as he helped raise cash for the cancer charity,” a source said.

The classy and lavish event looks like it was a lot of fun. All the Italian elite were there, and all their eyes were on David – he got quite a bit of attention from the ladies!
“All eyes were on Beckham the whole night,” an attendee told the Italian media. “He’s a global superstar, and as soon as he entered the room the place felt electric. Some of Italy’s most rich and famous women were falling at his feet”.
It looks like David had a lot of fun and enjoyed his night off. David has always been a charitable person, lending his name, time, money and face to organizations that are dear to him. It’s great to see he’s keeping that up while in Milan!
