Soccer stud David Beckham helped unveil the new Emporio Armani Underwear Fall / Winter 2009-10 campaign at Selfridges Oxford Street in London on June 11th.
David was welcomed onstage, outside Selfridges by Gaby Logan, and was dressed in a navy blue Giorgio Armani single breasted suit. The new campaign covered the entire front facade of Selfridges to thousands of Londoners who showed up to see a glimpse of him.
Three hundred fans had the opportunity to meet David after qualifying for a VIP meet and greet. He met with the fans and signed autograph pictures of him in his underwear, for the Armani campaign. Sweet!
“David has a great sense of style and is an inspiring role model – this is what makes him the perfect partner for Emporio Armani underwear. I am very excited that David Beckham’s new campaign image was unveiled exclusively in his home country and where better than at such an iconic retail destination as Selfridges,” said Giorgio Armani.
