David Beckham gave a lot of interviews this week about the new time-share agreement AC Milan and the Los Angeles Galaxy have reached about his playing time. In the video below, David talks to ESPN about his soccer future, his injury, why he’s pleased with the arrangement the two clubs worked out, how he really wants to play for England in 2010 and what all this means for his family.
The answers are very much the same as David has given in the other interviews this week. It gets repetitive, but it’s nice to see David taking the time to explain his decisions to the press. He has a lot of fans and people invested in his decisions and they deserve to know the rationale behind it.
I’m hoping David will be up for the Serie A match Milan has against Siena this Sunday. He seems pretty optimistic, but he has so much soccer coming up this year that I hope he doesn’t push himself.
