Those of us who watched with anticipation as David Bromstad won the first season of HGTV’s Design Star are already aware of his great new design show called Color Splash. Well, now there’s some wonderful news for us. Color Splash has been picked up for an aditional 13 episodes.
Hurray! I love the show and have gotten several ideas that I’ve used in my own home to work with color.

Color Splash with David and Danniele… I love this show. I live in the Bay area and thought I recognized a lot of the places so I was thrilled to findout it is filmed in the SF BAy area… I think David and Danielle are so incredible creative… I love when David paints a personal pic for his clients….. although they are both very talented what also comes through is how genuine and down to earth they both are and that combined with their talents makes a grrrrrrrrrrrrreat show….In fact, their show and Divine design are the only two I watch any more…I ‘m sick of those let’s fix out house up to sell or lets flip some houses… Keep up the great work David and Danielle and I’ll keep watching and tell my friends to watch.

I watched David win…and I love his show. My husband and I have a master bedroom in desperate need of David and Danielle’s touch. How do we get David to Fate, TX???!!! LOVE DAVID BROMSTAD!! I picked David as the winner at the time of the first design challenge. He is creative, he listens and the most refreshing thing about his show is that he and Danielle seem to really care about each other and their designs and they work as a team…not trying to outdo each other…the lack of “spats” is so refreshing. I try not to miss a show. I’ve been known to set the alarm for 1AM so I won’t miss it. I’m thrilled he has 13 more episodes.

I am so happy for David. I voted for him from the very start. He is always so invested in every project he takes on.
I would like to know how his father is doing with his cancer treatments.
My husband and I were halfway through with remodeling our home and had to stop in March when my husband got ill. He was diagnosed with acute luekemia in april. He is still in treatments. This is why I got to thinking again about David’s dad. It’s not easy on his mom and David.
David Bromstad and Candice Olson are the only deisgners I would trust to come into my home and do whatever they want. They are magnifico!! I love them. Please continue their shows forever.

David, I LOVE your designs. I have been trying to come up with ideas for my kids’ room. The challenge…A boy and a girl in a very small room. I’ve divided the room, one side pink and white and the other blue, green and red. Our family room is another room that would turn out awsome with your ideas. David you are WONDERFUL! I watch every show and think you are the Best on TV. I love how you paint a beautiful special picture for each homeowner. Can I buy your artwork anywhere? I love watching David’s talent at work. it’s one of the few tv shows I tivo. I like it when he comes up with artistic solutions to everyday problems so that should be shown more… The only thing annoying is Danielle – she needs to stick with being an assistant like the carpenter and stop trying to be a co-host. The show started putting her as another host and she’s really just a distraction and does not add value to the designer. Now the show has other color assistants that do Danielle’s work and Danielle is just out shopping and repeating whatever David says. I find it very annoying. It’s David’s design show, not David & Danielle’s show. She needs to get her own show if she wants to be a host. Please go back to just David being the host.

I love David. I watched him through the entire competition while being layed out with a broken back it was the highlight of my day. I watch all his shows and hope he will be around for a long time to come. My husband and I have a living room dinning room combo that we would love for him to do, I don’t know how to contact the show for more info. We live on the east coast in CT. My husband and I adore your show(yes, he records it!)- your sense of color, design and composition as well as your art pieces are truly inspiring. We live in the Seattle area, and have a kitchen in dire need of your artistry as we don’t have the faintest idea of how to make it workable – as I am a fabulous Sicilian cook trained by my mom and grandparents. In my free time, I love to cook and entertain for friends but the kitchen is badly laid out, with minimal counter space and not enough room for my husband and I to be in together. We would love for you to work your magic on our kitchen and I would be delighted to cook you and your team a dinner you will truly remember!

David, I watch your program every day since I retired.I saw a program where you made a piece of wood art that you placed on a yellow wall (I THINK IT WAS YELLOW ).It was maybe four to six feet long and you placed it horizonally on the wall.It was beautiful.I have tried to look at some of your past episodes but have not had any luck.I would appreciate any help. I WATCH EVERY SHOW TWICE. WHEN IT FIRST AIRS ON SATURDAY NIGHT AND THEN WHEN IT IS REPEATED LATER THE SAME NIGHT I ALSO WATCH OR TAPE THE REPEATS AS THEY ARE AIRED DAILY ON HGTV. I AM AN ARTISTIC LANDSCULTOR …MIDDLE AGED PROBABLY CONSIDERED A SENIOR . I LOVE LOVE LOVE DAVID BROMSTEAD.
