Huh. This rumor about American Idol star, David Cook, and So You Think You Can Dance contestant, Lacey Schwimmer, is getting more detailed. CelebTV seems to have info about a “first date.” Watch for yourself!
Oh, and a PS (Sorry LOL), if he IS sneaking out or his motivation is taking a turn, then he’s not worth voting for. I don’t think fan votes should support someone who’s either lying, or sneaking out and breaking curfew, he’s 25 not 15.
All I can say is…..personally I don’t find her all that attractive….but if that’s his tastes, well, that’s his taste. It would disappoint me if he was lying, that show is supposed to be live. The days of lying about being in a relationship are long gone, and I would hope he didn’t lie when he said he was singe, especially since he made a big deal out of it (What camera do I look in, etc.). He should know that he can get by on his talent. Years ago they used to make all the bands and teen idols lie about having a gf because they thought it would damage their fan base. She was the one he was dancing with in that number they did with the dancers, she was the one behind him when he shook his hips. Guess she’s teaching him how to dance, he said he didn’t know how LOL.

Either he lied and said “Yes” so as not to deter the tons of young girls who could possibly vote for him and keep everything thinking he’s available, or this “newsflash” is BS and he really is single. But most of the guys in show business or the music industry lie about their relationship status to keep the fans who think they have a chance.
She’s not a very good girl by the way she dances, I think David needs someone that won’t cheat on him and she looks like a cheater…pfft and I’m jealous as hell…cause I think i’d make a way better girlfriend for him lol
and yeh he clearly said he was single…so I guess they didn’t really hit it off well..

To Tara: Lacey is a Latin Ballroom dancer. She is exposed to dance like that.
I can’t say if I believe they are couple, but David C. is my fav from this season of AI and Lacey was my fav from last season of SYTYCD!

Wow. She looks like a transvestite. Technically I’m jealous but it would make me a feel a lot better if she was at least attractive.

I can’t imagine that he even has time to date! They keep them pretty busy on Idol.
I’m all for him finding romance, but I want him to win, too (!), so I hope he continues to focus on the show.
