Dayanara Torres Still Yakking About Her Divorce From Marc Anthony

jlostalkerspjun_10_sp.jpg

Dayanara Torres is still yakking about her “triumph over divorce” from Marc Anthony. She tells one source that “Until my divorce, my life was like a fairytale. I guess I wrote this book to remind women that this can happen to anyone. Even skinny beauty queens.”

I don’t know what kind of egomanic would describe themselves as a “skinny beauty queen,” but Dayanara is used to being doted on. She was approached to become a beauty queen when she was 17, and just kind of slid through life being offered one thing after another. Her divorce is really the first time she didn’t get her way, so it’s no wonder that she’s still obsessing about it years later.

She wrote her book, which has the fantabulous title of Married to Me: How Committing to Myself Led to Triumph after Divorce, with her sister Jeannette. The funny part about this book is that she keeps saying things like this:

“Before I was married, I had my own life, my own career. Now all reporters want to talk about is that – like nothing else matters. I’m so over it.”

But obviously she isn’t if she is still talking about it and wanted to write a book about it. Hopefully this book will help her truly move on.
