The reviews for Camp Rock are already starting … and not all of them are positive. In one review at the Washington Post, Demi Lovato just doesn’t cut it. “Although she’s likable enough, Lovato just doesn’t have the same sparkle as a Miley Cyrus — or an Ashley Tisdale, for that matter. And though her music is in the same dance-inspiring, easy-to-memorize mode as that of the “HSM” franchise, it’s not as catchy.” Even Meaghan Jette-Martin takes a hit. The “mean girl is Tess, played by Meaghan Jette Martin, who as the token blonde/mean girl is far less distinctive than Tisdale in the “HSM” franchise.” Yikes!!
The review also says that Camp Rock is far too predictable and that it seems less of a launching point for the Jonas Brothers, and more of a payback to Disney for being their source of stardom.
In either case, I’m going to stay tuned tonight!!

demi’s music is SO good, shes a REAL singer
like she doesn’t sound like so many of the fake disney singers, like they sing bu their voice is so tweaked and so unreal. i like real singers, if people don’t sound perfect ,i think its better. sends out a better message too. no ones perfect, neither are celebs. so why should they sounds perfect? demis gorgeous

They’re two different artists. They each have their own talents. They don’t need to be compared. I like both of them. Demi is staring to seem more talented to me, though.

I like miley and I think shes a great actress and singer and i like her music. But I think that Demi Lovato is an even better singer and more refreshing than Miley Cyrus. I think both of these girls and should have a great careers!

Miley ISN’T a good actress. In fact, she’s one of the worst I have ever seen. She’s only famous because she’s marketable.
Demi is talented, she has a wonderful singing voice. It gets annoying when critics always compare every teen star to Miley. Fame has nothing to do with talent.

Demi dosn’t have to replace Miley. she can become a MEGASTAR on her own. Because I have heard Demi sing LIVE and she was as good as Miley who was also performing. (It was the DCGAMES concert.

Demi shouldn’t be compared to Miley and Ashley! She’s awesome and the song “We Rock” is SO catchy, im like always singing it now!
