The reviews for Camp Rock are already starting … and not all of them are positive. In one review at the Washington Post, Demi Lovato just doesn’t cut it. “Although she’s likable enough, Lovato just doesn’t have the same sparkle as a Miley Cyrus — or an Ashley Tisdale, for that matter. And though her music is in the same dance-inspiring, easy-to-memorize mode as that of the “HSM” franchise, it’s not as catchy.” Even Meaghan Jette-Martin takes a hit. The “mean girl is Tess, played by Meaghan Jette Martin, who as the token blonde/mean girl is far less distinctive than Tisdale in the “HSM” franchise.” Yikes!!
The review also says that Camp Rock is far too predictable and that it seems less of a launching point for the Jonas Brothers, and more of a payback to Disney for being their source of stardom.
In either case, I’m going to stay tuned tonight!!

Miley is a great actress and so is ashley but why compare demi to them.. Demi is an awesome actress and this is the first movie we actually see her act.. I personally don’t think she should be compared to them she is who she is.. And that thing about the jonas brothers wow.. I love the jonas brothers but they are huge already this movie is just something different that they wanted to try.. I don’t think it is a pay back to disney.. But i’m sure it is going to be awesome.. And the reviews usually come from adults so maybe its more centered to kids and teens.. Just my opinion
Nobody can outstand MILEY CYRUS! Smiley Rules! enough said but demi is good too but i’m not a big fan
