Nikki gave you the scoop the other day that Demi Lovato’s new Disney Channel show has changed names once again. It’s called ‘Sunny With a Chance’ (changed from Welcome to Mollywood and Welcome to Holliwood.
Demi talked to Spanish magazine Para Todos about the new gig. She says, ‘It’s about a girl named Sonny having a chance to make it in show business. We filmed the first episode and we will continue to film the series through the next few months.’
So, from the sounds of it, Demi will be able to relate to her character Molly, Holli…I mean Sonny. There is no definite release date for the show. Update: Release date set for February or March 2009.
IMDB still has it listed as the original title with a 2009 date. I’ll let you know when I find out more info!
