With a massive age gap between his 17-year-old son Jack and 20-month old twins Thomas and Zoe, Dennis Quaid is approaching fatherhood a little more calmly the second time around.
“You don’t freak out at every sniffle and every trip and fall,” he explained. “It’s not such a shock, changing diapers and getting up in the night.”
But he concedes that raising multiples brings its own set of challenges, commenting that “it’s harder because there’s two of them. One’s going one way, and the other’s going the other. You go from man-to-man to zone defense.”
Having recovered from a rocky start to life, the twins are now developing their own unique personalities.
“She’s very much a girlie-girl, and he’s a linebacker,” he shared.
Dennis’ next project, G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, hits theaters everywhere on August 7th.
