Denzel Washington attended a photocall for his new film “The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3” in Berlin, Germany today (July 21).
The hunky star revealed that he and co-star John Travolta sang some songs in between takes of the movie. He said, "Between takes on the microphone, we would sing songs and tell jokes. Somewhere along the line, there will be a tape that will come out of Denzel’s greatest hits with John and I doing a duet!"”.
Okay, now I would love to hear that!
Denzel went on to talk about John and how it was great to work with him.
The “Taking of Pelham 1 2 3” star said, “It was fun because he was a really sweet person, one of the nicest people I’ve ever worked with. I didn’t know him but I’d met him before. It was an interesting relationship and interesting the way it developed, the way it did in the film."
You can catch this action flick, which is about armed men who hijack a New York City subway train, hold the passengers hostage in return for a ransom, and turn an ordinary day’s work for dispatcher Walter Garber (Denzel Washington) into a face-off with the mastermind behind the crime – in theaters now.
