In Hilary Duff’s latest single, ‘Reach Out’, from her ‘Best Of‘ Album, she samples from Depeche Mode’s ‘Personal Jesus’. Depeche Mode is currently coming up with a new album, and in an interview recently talked about Hilary’s use of their track. Frontman Dave Gahan had this to say:
“I don’t know what I think about it…. It’s a little weird,” laughed Gahan. “I think it was something that Martin didn’t really have any choice over, they kind of did it anyway. But, you know, it is what it is. Look, my daughter loves it. You know what she said to me? ‘But it’s not the same, Dad.’ “
Hilary Duff’s ‘Best Of’ album was off of iTunes for a while, I’m not exactly sure why, but it’s back up!! So, you can now buy the full album here.
In addition, you can buy each of the songs from ‘Best Of’ on their own now! So, if you just want to buy ‘Reach Out‘ or ‘Holiday‘, or the remixes, they are just $0.99 each! You can buy the ‘Reach Out’ music video for $1.49 too, so that’s great if you want to watch it in a good quality!

lol i actually really like depache mode!! haha i bought their greatest hits album and its sooo good and catchy! lol but.. of course being such a huge Hilary fan i like her version better!:)<3
