Deryck Whibley was spotted having lunch with a male friend earlier this week at the Newsroom restaurant in Los Angeles, California. Wife Avril Lavigne was nowhere in sight. Most people will probably assume it’s being of their reported marital “problems” but I think that it was just a business lunch since Sum 41 has been busy in the studio recording new music for an album that’s being released sometime this year.
