American Idol season three runner-up, Diana DeGarmo, performed her new single “Right Back Where We Ended” on American Idol Extra. I want to know what you think of the single! I like the song but I’m not completely in love with this performance. Oh well, when a song is new the artist is just getting a feel for it so it’s probably that. Did anyone watch her on Gone Country?
An appearance has just been added on for Diana DeGarmo this Saturday night June 28, 2008 according to Diana’s MySpace page. Diana will be appearing at the WETbar in Atlanta, Georgia. The details for the event are below:

Will definitely be a great night of music with Diana DeGarmo performing live. Hopefully, Diana will perform her song from the Gone Country finale “Right Back Where We Ended.”
Diana DeGarmo has sure had a great 2008. In January, she starred in the CMT hit show Gone Country with Bobby Brown, Carnie Wilson, Dee Snider and Maureen McCormick. John Rich of the country group Big and Rich was the host of the show. The series was one of the highest rated shows in CMT’s 25 year television history.
After the Gone Country show wrapped production, Diana DeGarmo moved to Nashville and has been signed to John Rich’s production company and is working on a new country album in Nashville. The album is expected to have songs written by John Rich and Gretchen Wilson as well as “Right Back Where We Ended” the song Diana performed at the Gone Country finale.
Most of the cast of Gone Country was at the CMT Music Awards show in April. The cast: Diana DeGarmo, Maureen McCormick, John Rich, Siscqo and Bobby Brown introduced Kenny Chesney. There were many great pictures of Diana from the red carpet at the event that showed up on the internet.
In April, Diana DeGarmo was selected by CMT to be the hostess for their Global Youth Service Day event.
In June, Diana DeGarmo appeared at the CMA Music Festival in Nashville which is one of the biggest country music festivals for the year. Diana also appeared at the June Jam 2008 in Georgia and debuted two new songs “Mr. Right” and “Thank You”. The videos can be seen on You Tube. She also performed “Right Back Where We Ended” at the event.
It is sure great to see that after a great run on Broadway that this year Diana DeGarmo is getting back to doing concerts, radio shows, tv shows, magazine interviews and returning to her country roots with a new album.

Love the song Right Back Where We Ended and Diana DeGarmo sang the song great on American Idol Extra.
Back in March, Diana DeGarmo taped an episode of the Montel Show. The episode will be shown on July 7, 2008. In most areas the episode will area at 1pm on Fox Channel 11. Definitely check your TV Guide listings to make sure.

Great new video just posted on You Tube of Diana DeGarmo performing Right Back Where We Ended at the June Jam 2008 on Saturday.
There are also videos of her performing: Dreams, Till You Want Me and Chain of Fools at the event. All were great performances by Diana DeGarmo.
She also tested the waters at the event for two new songs never perfomed before. The songs were called Thank You and Mr. Right.

Diana DeGarmo gave an interview on June 6, 2008 to World Talk Live Radio. She talked about her experiences on American Idol, Broadway, and on Gone Country. She also talked about appearing at this weekends CMA Festival and also about her concert this weekend in Georgia. She sang acapella the chorus of Right Back Where We Ended. A great interview.
