Did Green Day Copy Their Album Artwork From Blur?

Some believe that Green Day has modeled the artwork for their new album, “21st Century Breakdown” after Blur’s 2003 album, “Think Tank”.

Even though Green Day cited Sixten’s artwork as their inspiration, it looks remotely similar to Blur’s album.

Think they were being copycats?

it looks similar in the sense that its a couple who is holding eachother, so every picture of a couple holding eachother is a copy cat? They are not wearing similar clothing, she has a pony tail- and no helmet, the hands arent even in the same place and besides what is one of green day’s biggest messages to date? anti comformity being influenced by the sound of punk… So copying anothers image would be out of the question anyways. Tons of people and images have similarities but with so many billions of each it is difficult to create something entirely new. give the guys a little more credit then that.
