Dina Lohan Suggests More McDonald's to Lindsay

Dina Lohan came to the defense of daughter Lindsay Lohan and her dramatic weight loss. In a new interview for Access Hollywood, Dina Lohan questions why people care about other people’s weight. Although I agree it’s an unhealthy topic to bring up in the news, I think talking about someone who is underweight is more important than the reverse given that young girls look up to figures like Lindsay Lohan as their role models. Dina Lohan says:

“I’m a mom. If I see my daughter a little thin, I say, ‘Eat more McDonalds.’”

Which is apparently what Lindsay’s been doing – eating McDonald’s. But perhaps fatty foods are not the best way to get back Lindsay’s lost muscle mass. Dina continues, admitting that Lindsay’s weight is a topic she monitors closely:

“I told Lindsay I think she’s a little thin. But we go through this every couple of months. My daughter is happy and healthy and that’s all that really matters.”

Go Dina! That’s exactly the right attitude to have. Dina admits that the family is doing its best to avoid negative tabloid attention on this issue, as with others, but I’m glad she’s come out to make a positive statement about it.

  2. G says:

That women is freakin’ unbelivieble!! If Lindsay would kill someone, she would defend that with “lindsay is happy and healthy and the tabloids shouldnt put so much focus in it.”

It’s interesting that Dina and millions of other people
are finally agreeing with Michael that Lindsay
    is having serious health problems.

  4. J says:

I agree, G. The problem with Dina is that Lindsay has all the power. I don’t think anything Dina says means anything. I do believe that Lindsay has gotten very skinny, but it isn’t from work or stress. It is her girlfriend. It’s obvious. If you are heavier than your partner (and I can say this from experience), you will be self-conscious.

  5. [...] also went to McDonald’s like her mom told her to [...]
