Showbiz Tonight also snuck a little segment in to their programming about "Stage Moms", and of course Dina Lohan sticks out in that category. The commentary surrounding show moms basically had them as being the ones "addicted to the limelight" and that it’s all about knowing when to push (when the kids want to go after something) and when pushing is simply pushing:
So, I ask – does Dina Lohan try to live her life through her daughters? Now that Lindsay is grown up, is she doing that to Ali? Is Ali too young to make these decisions on her own?

while i wish ali luck in her showbiz career,in my opinion she is going about this in the wrong way.you see,Lindsay was a true movie star(still is,and my always favorite)before she was a dramafied celebrity in the trashloids and smearNET.in todays celebrity-obsessed famous for being famous ‘reality’ garbage society,the way people get famous is get their less than ideal(read UGLY)faces on tv or movies by anyway they can,without TALENT OR HARD WORK.yeah,that’s right,people,i said it,TALENT OR HARD WORK,OR BOTH.Lindsay was hugely talented as an eleven year old,and put in a lot of hard work on ‘parent trap’,and that’s why she has made 11 feature movies,2 tv movies,2 albums,countless magazine covers,appearences,tv shows,with more of everything on the way.in todays culture,you just have to get on tv or a spot in a bad movie,which 90% of movies are,and PRESTO,YOU’RE A CELEBRITY!!!you see,it’s not about talent,persona,hard work,nah,just getting your ugly mug on the tube and internet.i am afraid ali is going for the celebrity thing instead of the actress/singer route.tell your momager ‘NO!!!’,Ali,i want to be a star,not a ‘celebrity’.in the old days,celebrity was rare,only a few achieved it,because it required talent,hard work,sacrifice,disappointment,patience,but no,today,any common scuzzball like parisite and heidi whatever from the hills,can be a ‘star’,so disgusting!!!i can’t stand 98% of hollywierd,to the point of not even watching most movies and tv,today.these ‘stars’ actually make me sick with revulsion.run,ali,run away from E!,VH1,and those flava flav scumbags,run!!!peace

everytime i try to give dina some benefit of the doubt,she goes and does some more ‘stagemom from hell’ antics like this ridiculous ‘reality’ show exploiting her youngest two kids,ali and cody.good grief,i can’t take ANYONE seriously who appears on this garbage,even a lohan.Lindsay may have her issues,but she is no dummy,why do you think she is staying away from this mess?because it will end badly,mark my words.have you guys wondered why there are NO photos of Lindsay and her mom together,since Lindsay left rehab in Utah,oct07?i bet Lindsay tried to talk her mom out of doing this crap,and it was to no avail,so Lindsay hightailed it out of there.i find it telling that when Dina came to LA a week ago,Linds flew to NYC with dj sam for a gig,on the same day!!LOL.anyway,i just saw some promo pics for this ‘living lohan’ show,and there was a shot of the livingroom of their home,and a framed photo of redheaded Lindsay,circa 2004,in the bookcase.it was a fabuLLous and mesmerizing photo of Lindsay,an obvious family picture,and she looks beautiful,composed,staring dreamily at the camera.i won’t watch this exploitive junk unless Lindsay makes an appearence,because after all,this show wouldn’t be possible without the fame and publicity of the true star of this family,the incomparable,one and only Lindsay Lohan.but of course,Linds will NEVER make an appearence,as she is intelligent,and knows that most people KNOW that ‘reality’ tv is garbage and desperation by untalented wannabe hacks.that said,good luck,ali and cody.peace

I found her on a celebrity dating site called Wealthy Kiss.c o m or something. I forget the screename. I will check it out for you guys and come out with the truth soon.
I’ve always seen Dina as a mother who would do anything for her kids’ happiness.
I think it’s just jealousy talking, parents disappointed to their own children are badmouthing Dina who works hard and has her childrens’ respect.
Why is Dina always painted as the “stage mom.” First of all, Lindsay has talent and Dina supported the talent and we have Lindsay Lohan the starlet.
Now if Lindsay didn’t have talent and Dina supported her anyway, does that make her a stage mom?
I don’t think Dina is a stage mom. I think she’s done her best in supporting her daughter’s dream and managing her career. Children have dreams, some parents ignore their children’s desires and other parents focus on their children’s dreams.
What’s wrong with that. Just because Dina chooses to put her energy in making her daughters’ dreams come true doesn’t mean she’s a stage mom. People need to get a life. Nobody is perfect. We’re all doing our best to stay afloat.

I gree with anon on this…But i think Dina started Lindsay’s carrer by taking her to do comercials and stuff and by doing that everybody saw Lindsay’s huge talent, charisma and love for the camera…And she became a HUGE Star at the age of 12…So i have to give Dina credit for that…Love Lindsay 4 ever…peace
lindsay isn’t a virgin. well from all her interviews, she said shes very sexual person and she enjoys sex…so I dont no where you would’ve thought that garry R.
