Disney Green Lights “Fish Hooks”

sipaphotostwo171427-CA-MILEY-CYRUS- Disney has so many new projects coming out and it is so exciting! We’ve received the word about new movies and Disney Channel series that are being developed and some of them sound great! A new one was just announced this morning.

Disney has green-lighted its first animated series in 3 years entitled “Fish Hooks”. They’ve already ordered 21 episodes. Here’s a description of the series:

“Fish” revolves around party guy Milo (voiced by Kyle Massey); his neurotic brother, Oscar (Justin Roiland); and an overly dramatic goldfish, Bea (Chelsea Staub). They attend Freshwater High, a school submerged in a giant fish tank in the center of a local pet store. The series chronicles their daily lives as they deal with friendships, dating and sports as well as such atypical teen issues as giant lobster attacks and school field trips to the hamster cages.

The show is slated to premiere sometime in the fall of 2010. Given the popularity of their animated series Phineas and Ferb, which debuted in 2007, I think this one might do good as well. I am very excited about Kyle Massey playing a part!

What do you think?
