Disney is FULL of announcements today! First we hear that High School Musical 4 has a director, then we hear that they have ordered season four of Hannah Montana and now we know this…there will be a season 2 of “Sonny with a Chance”!
The show, which premiered in February, stars Demi Lovato, Tiffany Thornton, Sterling Knight, Brandon Mychal Smith, Doug Brochu and Allisyn Ashley Arm. It has received some great ratings and audiences definitely love the show.
Gary Marsh had this to say about this announcement: “’Sonny’ was a hit right out of the gate, thanks in no small part to the stratospheric trajectory of our newest star, Demi Lovato. She and the entire talented cast, along with our gifted writing and producing teams, have turned ‘Sonny With A Chance’ into ‘destination television’ for kids everywhere. We thrilled with the direction this first season has taken, and look forward to tapping further into its comedic potential, adding music and more, in Season Two.”
Also, the fictionalized tween magazine “Tween Weekly” seen in the series has successfully crossed over into the digital world at www.TweenWeekly.com. The site features articles, interviews and quizzes that explore pop-culture, fashion and celebrity in relation to the world of “Sonny With A Chance.” Updates coincide with each new episode premiere.

Hi, sorry about this, but since I live in London, I do not know if or not, the sonny with a chance episode has been premiered, and I feel stupid askking this, but I really want to know, so I can carry on checking Youtube, with just a tad bit of hope ;). Thank you. x
I am also way excited for season 2, but when does it come out? I caught on a little late and have no idea when it is coming out and can’t stand not knowing!

Hey! i’m katie. I’m 11 years old and i really want an acting career really bad. Do you have to have some experience in theatre? Noo idk when it comes out… i checked the schedule and it says no new episodes within the next two weeks. But they wouldnt be doing promos so early would they? DARN DISNEY! they wait so long before sonny and chad confess. and now there making us wait LONGER? Typical disney. O and btw they wouldnt cancel the episode they already filmed it and im sure the fans at the filming would be angry…

We all shouldnt do this…cuz people did this for midnight sun ( twilight in edwards perspective) and stephanie stopped writing it because people kept leaking it on the internet and idont think we should do this!!! we should all just wait and SEE the episode, cuz i bet its going to relly good if we EVER get to see it!!! I love Channy and SWAC soooo much. It is my favorite tv show EVER! I can’t wait for January 10th, when Season 2 airs. It’s going to be so exciting! I read the script online and I love it so much that I just keep going back and looking at it again. Season 2 is definetly going to be very interesting. Very interesting indeed, if you know what I mean ;)

im not gonna say the site but i was searching it on google and i found the forum where someone posted the script. All you Channy lovers- no they don’t kiss :( . However…………. Chad does ask Sonny out, and they agree to secretly date eachother. Also- for those who like their cute bickering heres a little piece- not giving to much away. Exact quotes here:

Honestly, I don’t CARE about the sketches and the comedic situations! I just want to see Chad and Sonny together! It’s really like Pride and Prejudice, my favorite classic. I <3 you, Channy! :)

ok there is no sonny with a chance episode 22 its episode 1 season two. by the way chels it come out on the third or tenth of january. its an hour long speacal and nancy guest stars as sonnys mother(DUH!) and theres ganna be a sketch were sonny is set up on a blind date. and srry to disapoint you guys if your actully reading this but sonny and chad might, just might, not kiss. ya i know. it sucks, well enless they did kiss but you know wat i mean. by the way, if anyone knows anything i dont just email me at izzybeemeee@gmail.com thnx!
i’m a massive SWAC fan but honestly, i had no clue what the the 22 ep was about till i read it here, so obviously i was really excited when i read that. every time i read ‘falling for the falls’ i laugh so hard for some reason ;)

OMG! I love channy’s relationship too, and even though it is illegal, they were selling the ‘falling for the falls’ sonny with a chance script on ebay! It went yesterday at about six or seven o’clock! I WANT TO SEE THAT SCRIPT SOOOO BAD! :)
I know! the 22 episode is called falling for the falls and the desirtion says ” A romance starts..” aHHHH i can’t wait. I love Channy and they are perfect for there roles!!!
