Disney ended up pulling one of the new Hannah Montana episodes that was supposed to air in November. The episode ‘No Sugar, Sugar’ was about one of the characters dealing with diabetes. The show was supposed to air this Sunday, November 9th.
After many complaints from parents, Disney made the decision to pull the show.
A spokesperson for the show said that they had consulted with medical experts so they could be sure the story was told responsibly. Because of feedback from the previews and feedback from parents who had already seen the episode, Disney removed the show from Sunday’s schedule.
What do you think about this decision? Watch the episode below and tell me if you think they made the right decision.

I just hope it airs someday or is released on a future box set of the show. I think Disney’s biggest problem was that “scary illness” preview they aired for it a couple weeks ago. That could easily have frightened smaller children. It would have scared me if I hadn’t already known it was diabetes Oliver had…
I guess I’ll have to Youtube the episode with my brother if I want to see it…

I would really like to know why they would pull this one. There are so many inappropriate shows that they are airing on Disney right now. Life with Derek was commenting on girl’s breast size on one episode. I just finished watching Zack and Cody where they were drooling over show girls who were pretty much table dancing. Seriously, what is wrong with people’s standards these days?
