Disney Society's Disney News Round Up #1

Every day I wake up and find all the Disney related news I can. It’s so much fun and something I look forward to every day. But I have a problem. Since there is SO much going on in the Disney world, between the Disney Channel Stars, the Disney movies, the Disney Channel and so on, I find it hard to narrow down what I’m going to bring to you. I could do about 20 posts a day, but that’s just too much.

So, a few times throughout the week I am going to do the Disney Society’s Disney News Round Up and provide you with links to stories, gossip and breaking news that I think you’ll enjoy. Sound good?

Alright, well here’s my first Disney News Round Up:

• Playhouse Disney Now Available to More Canadians – "Astral Media announced today that Playhouse Disney Canada is now available to subscribers of Cogeco Cable, Mountain Cablevision, and Access Communications. The channel will launch on SaskTel on February 21st."
• Ashley Tisdale Has a New Pooch! – "Ashley Tisdale is one busy girl these days. Not only does she have to fend off the paparazzi from her fame created by Disney’s High School Musical, but she is also busy with other projects and a new addition to the family."
• The Jonas Brothers Performing on Ellen and Jay Leno – "The Jonas Brothers will be appearing on both Ellen and Jay Leno in the next week, and I have all the details following the jump."
• Girl Gives Up Hannah Montana Tickets – "It was what Jordan Muchewicz really wanted for Christmas. When Julia Higgins heard about his mom’s illness and how important the concert was she knew it was the right thing to do."
• Disney’s B’rer Rabbit Hops into the Funny Pages – "I don’t want to keep harping on all the Disney anniversaries big and small that the Disney Company missed celebrating last year but I am going to mention one more because I am helping a friend on a special research project about Song of the South and ran across a Disney anniversary that I had forgotten."
