Okay, I have seen a lot of footage from Disney’s “The Princess and the Frog” and I have read a lot about the filming of this movie. The video I have to show you tonight is definitely one of my favorites. It’s all about the filmmakers and composers discussing New Orleans. John Lasseter said it’s his favorite city and went on to say it’s now the director’s favorite city.
The video clip covers all the magic that New Orleans has to give, from the food, architecture, animals and music. It really is a place of amazing culture that every one should get to experience.
Even the mayor of New Orleans talks about how Disney just got it right. Ray Nagin said they got the accents right, that they betrayed New Orleans unique style but that Disney portrayed it in a professional manner.
I can’t wait to see this movie!
Check out some cool pictures below that show parts of New Orleans next to the movie below.
